Mercado and Face Painting

Local artists from the region come together to share their Dia de los Muertos inspired crafts. Be sure to visit the Mercado from 5PM - 11PM and grab your own Dia de los Muertos inspired art.

Our amazingly talented face painters, who give life and the authentic look to the Dia de los Muetos Festival, will be located in the Mercado from 5p-11p. Stop by and become your own walking piece of art.

Food and Drink

The Day of the Dead festival hosts some of the most authentic Mexican food vendors in the Birmingham area. Enjoy many of your favorite foods like street tacos, tamales, aguas frescas, tortas, quesadillas, gorditas, corn on the cob, and much more.  Enjoy the Corona/Modelo Beer Garden along with The Cantina’s Famous Margaritas made with Hornitos Tequila.
